Lorde sacks her Manager

News of the split has reverberated around the world this week, with some music journalists questioning Lorde's decision.

The Guardian journalist Eamonn Ford wrote that Lorde joined a long line of musicians, including The Beatles, the Spice Girls and Lady Gaga, who had "euthanised" their careers by parting from the managers who made them famous.

"It should never be forgotten that, at the time in their careers and in their personal lives when they need it most, a good manager is the only person in the room who will say 'No'," Ford wrote.

"The proof of whether Lorde has made the right decision about her management will come with her second album. That's when we'll discover whether it was a record that might have been improved by a dissenting voice."

Last month Lorde's co-writer and producer, Joel Little, told Billboard the pair have begun work on a new album and had already written a couple of songs.

I  have no complaint about how Lorde looks or sings ,  I  just wish the  music was better.
